Ahead of the Frickley under 18 championships next week, we caught up with a few members of the FOMO sponsored squad to learn a bit more about the partnerships that make up the team and how their preparations are going.

Next up is Brook…

Your name & Age: Brook Walker, 17 years old

Horses name/age/height: I have been evening since 2016 but only started eventing Flight in 2017.

How long have you been eventing and what level do you compete at? I started competing at 90cm and have worked my way up to BENovice.

Tell us a bit about your achievements/results this year: My achievements on Flight this year would be winning our first event of the season at Forgandenny 100 open, on a dressage score of 27.0 which I was very pleased about, especially when the first event the horses are usually a bit fresh. Flight has done four events this year and has been placed in all of them, a mix of Novice and 100.

What are you looking forward to most about heading to the championships? At the championships, I am most looking forward to being part of the team but to also go out and feel the atmosphere. I can’t wait to compete at such a beautiful event with an amazing course.
